Abstract
This study aims to examine the impact of the digital economy on ecological sustainability and its development in China from 2000 to 2022. The study focuses on the role of innovation in the digital sector, where the adoption of big data technologies is considered, with reference to sustainable development, from an environmental perspective. A dynamic threshold model and, in particular, the Iterated Generalized Least Squares (IGLS) technique is used to analyze the given data.The research reveals a significant link between adopting digital technologies and managing environmental sustainability efficiently. To investigate the interconnection between the digital economy and ecological goals, it is proposed that ICT innovations are considered as the key to positive economic development. The paper's implicatio environmental sustenance ns are very important to policymakers and business organizations, especially in terms of how they can align the digital economy tactics with the organizational environmentalism strategies for sustainable economic development. The impact of the digital economy on the ecological environment and sustainable development of the latter increased energy consumption by 20% or decreased carbon dioxide emissions by 15%. The study emphasizes that Information and Communication Technology (ICT) innovation is the key to achieving a win-win situation for economic and ecological sustainability. These results can be made to directly relate to the title to enhance relevance while increasing readership because the conclusions are made explicit. To some degree, the present study can be placed in the context of a broader discourse on digitization and its impact on ecological responsibility. It provides information and advice as to where to go to deal with the dynamics and strategies of the economic environment.
