Journal History
The ASEAN Journal on Science and Technology for Development (AJSTD) was previously managed by Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, where it served as a platform for the dissemination of valuable research and insights within the ASEAN region. Universitas Gadjah Mada assumed the management of the Journal from Academi Sins Malaysia in 2018, and, through its dedicated efforts, successfully achieved the indexing of AJSTD in Scopus in October 2020.

Under the leadership of UBD, the journal envisions showcasing the remarkable growth and development of ASEAN nations in the realms of Science and Technology. Their mission is to provide a broader platform for ASEAN researchers and scientists to make their contributions more visible on the global stage. This change in management reflects a commitment to enhancing the international recognition and impact of ASEAN research, thereby fostering greater collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the global scientific community.
